Boxing Workout
Gladden Boxing Club mixes intervals of plyometric, aerobic, anaerobic, and strength training with boxing fundamentals. A typical class may include any of the following training methods:
Boxing—heavy bag, speed bag, shadow boxing, stance drills
Cardio—jump rope, plyometric & lateral movement drills
Strength—endurance training, abdominal conditioning, pull ups, push ups, wall sits
All students are provided with the same fundamentals and training that Coach Lee "Milk" Gladden Jr. provides to his amateur and professional boxers.This is a “learn with the pros without the blows” type of class.
Arrive 15 minutes early for class*, get your hands wrapped, stretch, and warm up. All new students are required to sign a waiver. Remove any rings before coming to class. Bring a towel and bottle of water. Coach Milk provides hand wraps, gloves and jump ropes but you are welcome to bring your own.
